Book Week Writing Competition
✍️Do you have a story waiting to be told?
Students from Years 7 to 12 are invited to enter our 2026 Book Week Writing Competition. You may submit a short story, poem, script, monologue or another piece of creative writing.
Choose from two categories:
📖 Open Writing
Write about anything you choose.
🎼 Symphony of Stories
Create a piece inspired by this year’s Book Week theme.
Entries will be judged in three divisions:
• Years 7 and 8
• Years 9 and 10
• Years 11 and 12
🏆 Prizes will be awarded to the winning entries, and selected pieces will be published and displayed during Book Week.
📅 Entries close at 4.00 pm on Friday 21 August.
