From Student to Speaker

What a special moment to see Thomas return to Yarrunga Primary School to share stories from his incredible journey to Peru. As a former Yarrunga student and Zoe Buttigieg Scholarship recipient, Thomas is a fantastic example of where curiosity, courage and embracing opportunities can lead.

It was wonderful to see him back at his primary school, inspiring the next generation of Yarrunga Primary School students by sharing his experiences and encouraging them to dream big.

Whilst on Wednesday night, August 12 Gus Hedderman, Kaity Ford , Matthew Leerson and Noah Williams also had the opportunity to share their Peru experiences, presenting to Rotary Clubs from Appin Park, Milawa/Oxley and Bright at the Wangaratta Club. It was a fantastic experience for everyone and another wonderful opportunity for our students to share their journey with the wider community.
