Arts Week

Arts Week 2024 was a huge success at the college, packed with workshops, screenings and exhibitions. 

Tuesday saw the opening of the Pop Up Art Exhibition featuring Year 7 sculpture, Year 8 and Year 10 collage artworks, Year 9 character illustrations and Year 10 printmaking. The exhibition also featured final artworks from Units 2 and 4 of Art Making and Exhibiting. 

Students illustrated their own badges during the Wednesday lunchtime workshop and the Open Mic on Friday showcased just some of the incredible musical talent we have here at Chelt.Sec.

On Thursday, Media screened 50 minutes of student work. There was an eclectic mix of Year 9 animations, Year 10 production challenges and Year 11 horror films.  The audience screamed at some of the scarier films and laughed at the fun animations.  We are so lucky to have an auditorium with lowlights to make it safe to move to a seat and view films on a quality screen and top-notch speakers.
