Italian Week

This year for Italian Week, students of Italian took a relaxed step back into the spirit of “La dolcevita”: ‘The sweet life’!

We enjoyed Italian comedy through film and we shared in a lunch of pizza, fizzy drinks and gelato!

The annual tradition of the whole school ‘Regions of Italy Treasure Hunt’ stepped up the pace into a frenzy to find the final five regions, which had been ingeniously hidden by the Year 9 Elective Italian class. The last of the 20 regions were finally discovered Friday morning, just in time for the lunchtime draw! Congratulations to our prize winners and to all of the treasure hunters who took the search to the next level this year.

Thanks to the participants in the “Guess the biscotti” competition and congratulations to Elizabeth and Nandya on their winning, educated guess of precisely 31 biscuits!
