Congratulations to Grade 5 in-line skater Amy, who was selected to represent Australia in Singapore last week. Amy competed in the "Inline Freestyle Roller Skating" category, where Australia is still a relatively young team on the international stage. Amy competed in two disciplines - "Speed Slalom" and "Freestyle Slide".
Jessica, Amy's Mum said, "We are very proud that Amy achieved the best result among the Australian junior women athletes in the "Speed Slalom" event. The experience has been very valuable for Amy, giving her the chance to compete at an international level. We sincerely appreciate the school's support in recognizing her achievements and sharing her experience with the school community."
Wow, Amy, what an outstanding achievement to represent Australia in this growing sport amongst our youth. We are incredibly proud of you and your amazing achievement!!!

Thank you BPS for an outstanding year in Physical Education and Sport. On behalf of our staff and school I'd like to wish everyone a safe and joyful Christmas, New Year period and summer holidays. Please rest, spend time together and enjoy the simple things.
High fives, Mrs P:)
