To Our Wonderful Year 5/6 Families,
As we reach the end of another exciting school year, it’s hard to believe our Year 5 and 6 students are already preparing for the next big steps in their journeys. What a year of learning, laughter, leadership and growth it has been!
For our Year 6 students, the Class of 2025, this final chapter of primary school has been filled with friendship, challenge, joy, and so many unforgettable experiences. They have grown into confident, compassionate leaders - young people who look out for one another, who give their best, and who have left a lasting mark on our school. They have enjoyed their final festivities with great spirit and are now eagerly looking forward to their upcoming Celebration Day, a well-deserved milestone honouring their achievements and resilience. It has been our privilege to guide them through this important final year.
For our Year 5 students, excitement is building as they prepare to step into their own final year of primary school. They have shown enthusiasm, and teamwork - qualities that will serve them well as they become the leaders of Blackburn Primary School in 2026.
Throughout the year, our 5/6 community has shared so many highlights together, including:
- Camp adventures and teamwork challenges
- Leadership opportunities across the school
- Sports days, interschool sports, and House events
- STEM explorations and hands-on inquiry projects
- Community celebrations, themed days, and whole-school events
Countless moments in the classroom filled with creativity, curiosity, and growth
To our families, thank you sincerely for your ongoing support. Your partnership helps make Blackburn Primary the warm, connected, and vibrant community that it is. We are grateful for the trust you place in us and for the encouragement you give your children each day.
As we farewell our cherished Year 6 Class of 2025 and cheer on our Year 5s as they step proudly into leadership and their final chapter, we wish you all a wonderful break and the happiest of holidays.
