Wellbeing Snapshot – End of Year

As we reach the end of the school year, our Wellbeing Captains wanted to share a final reflection on the wellbeing focus across our school community.

Throughout the year, we have explored The Resilience Project and its key practices: Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness (GEM). These simple daily habits have helped us pause, notice the good, understand others, and stay balanced during busy moments. Our school has participated in many wellbeing activities that we have run this year and we had a lot of fun being part of these amazing events.

Our school values have of course been part of our wellbeing journey. We have shown:

  • Friendship through including others
  • Cooperation during group tasks and play
  • Manners and Respect in the way we speak, listen and learn
  • Celebration of Diversity by appreciating the different strengths, cultures and perspectives within our school
  • Responsibility  - taking care of ourselves and others
  • Fairness and Honesty-  learning how to take turns in games fairly

Together, these values and wellbeing skills have helped our school build stronger connections and support for one another.

As we move into the holiday break, we encourage families to keep GEM practices alive at home- noticing small moments of gratitude, taking mindful pauses, and showing empathy in daily interactions.

We have enjoyed being part of your Wellbeing journey this year.

Remember it takes Bravery to be Kind!

Your Amazing  Wellbeing Team,

Mrs Arthur, Melanie and Zoe
