Level 5

Week 10 update
Wow! What an exciting end to Term 2 we have had. Last week, Level 5 students had a blast practising and performing in HEPS' school production, 'Pirates of the Curry Bean'! The kids did an amazing job with their song, 'Cat Like Tread'. Well done Grade 5s!
In Literacy, students have been focusing on using deliberate and specific word choices to improve their writing. It has been fantastic to see how much their persuasive skills have developed, especially in their 'Sell the Unsellable' advertisements.
As we finish off the term, students have been working on wrapping up their 'Shark Tank' inquiry group projects. Level 5 have had so much fun generating innovative ideas, marketing their products, and constructing prototypes over the past few weeks.
Let's hear what our Level 5 students have enjoyed most about Term 2:
"My highlight during Term 2 was VHAP." - William H.
"My highlight for Term 2 was going to camp because we got to look at the history of Sovereign Hill." - Isabella V.
"I liked doing the sport activities for Gala Day." - Aditi A.
"I liked visiting the Kinder and playing with them." - Ella S. and Isla A.
"I liked the camp activities and lollies." - Amelia W.
"The camp activities were good, especially gold panning. I liked learning about businesses and money for inquiry." - Josh D.
"Camp was good because of the activities, cabin time, and spending time with my friends." - Ethan D.
