Nationals Competition

Between the 14 and16 August, 76 members of the MGSC Aerobics and Dance squad headed to Wrest Point in Hobart, Tasmania, to compete in the TFT Nationals competition, amongst the best in Australia. The weekend was full of fun, happy tears, and so much excitement as each and every member performed to the best of their ability.

It was amazing watching the entire squad supporting and congratulating not only their peers but also competitors from other clubs/schools around the country for their performances, recognising the hard work of everyone and the improvement since the state finals competition. 

As a squad we achieved some incredible results, achieving three firsts, three seconds, and five thirds, as well as lots of other amazing results in some really tough sections.

We are so proud of each and every performer for giving their all and representing MGSC with pride, demonstrating a high level of dedication to the program. We also can’t thank all of the coaches, in particular Miss Molina, enough for everything they give to the program, we certainly couldn’t do it without them. In addition we’d like to recognise the parents for their support of their children and their teammates and for giving up so much to allow them to be part of our incredible squad.

We can’t wait to get back to training after a week off for our competition in October, to wrap up what has been a fabulous year!
