State Athletics Championship

Congratulations to our exceptional student athletes who proudly represented Brighton Secondary College at the School Sport Victoria State Athletics Championships this week. Competing against some of the best young athletes from across the state, our students demonstrated remarkable talent, determination, and sportsmanship .

It was an incredible day of competition, with our students achieving outstanding results across multiple events. Xavier delivered impressive performance, earning silver medals in both the MC Long Jump and the Shot Put 200. His focus and consistency throughout the competition were truly inspiring.

Ada also shone on the track and field, claiming silver in the 14 Girls Hurdles and another silver in the Long Jump. Her versatility and athletic ability across both disciplines were a testament to her dedication and hard work throughout the season.

Meanwhile, Taya displayed great skill and determination in the Triple Jump, securing a bronze medal in a highly competitive field. Her achievement capped off what was an exciting and successful day for all our Brighton Secondary College competitors.

We are incredibly proud of each student who took part in the Championships, not only for their impressive results but for the way they conducted themselves as representatives of our College. Their commitment to training, teamwork, and personal excellence is an inspiration to their peers and the wider school community.
