Bronze Medallion Camp

Become a Lifesaver: Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate Course
This December, the Brighton Lifesaving Club (BLSC) will be running its highly regarded Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) courses – an incredible opportunity for young people to develop vital lifesaving skills, build confidence, and become part of Victoria’s iconic surf lifesaving community.
Running from 15–19 December, the course offers participants hands-on experience in First Aid, CPR, water and land rescues, teamwork, and patrol operations. Those completing the Bronze Medallion will also learn how to use a defibrillator, further expanding their emergency response skills.
Upon completion, participants earn nationally recognised First Aid qualifications, which are valuable across a range of future careers and volunteer pathways. Graduates also gain access to BLSC clubhouse facilities, patrols, competitions, and further training opportunities, including IRB Driver and Crew, Advanced Resuscitation Techniques, and Coaching or Training courses.
To take part, students must be able to swim 400 metres in under 10 minutes and hold membership with BLSC or another lifesaving club. The course cost is $300.
Interested participants can register via the SLSA Hub at https://hub.sls.com.au and enrol through Member Training from Anywhere at https://mt.lsv.com.au.
For more information or to confirm your enrolment, see the contact details at the bottom of the flyer below.
This is an exciting chance to gain real-world lifesaving skills, meet new people, and make a difference in the community this summer! 🏖️💪
