Celebration Week

Last week, our Year 12 students celebrated their final days of high school with a vibrant and joyful Celebration Week. It was a chance to reflect, laugh and enjoy time together before heading into exams and beyond.
The week kicked off on Monday with a burst of colour and creativity. Students enjoyed snapping photos in the photobooth, proudly showing off their customised school uniforms adorned with messages and signatures from friends and teachers. Students also inked their fingers to “Leave Your Mark”, a lasting symbol of their connection to the College. Adding to the festivities was the self-portrait caricature station – the final portraits will be revealed soon!
On Tuesday, nostalgia took centre stage with the Primary School and Childhood Memories Day. Students arrived dressed as their younger selves or in themed outfits from their primary school years, sparking laughter as some tops were stretched to the limit and also heartfelt reminiscing as they looked back on how far they’ve come. To cap it off, students enjoyed the grand opening of Club BSC, dancing lunch away to their favourite tunes up in the school hall.
By Wednesday, it was time to look forward to the future with “Dress as Your Future Career” Day. The campus was buzzing with aspiring doctors, tradies, sports stars, teachers, and even a few CEOs-in-training! The day also featured a high-energy Capture the Flag game, which brought out some friendly competition and plenty of laughter as students and teachers joined in the fun.
The celebrations continued on Thursday with the always-entertaining “Anything But a Bag” Day, where creativity soared. We had wheelbarrows, wheelchairs, shopping trolleys, bins, microwaves, laundry baskets and much more being used in place of traditional school bags. We then hit a sentimental note with the Final Assembly, where students shared memories, thanked their teachers, witnessed an outstanding teacher dance routine, and experienced the bittersweet sound of the final bell that officially marked the end of their high school journey.
It was a week filled with laughter, reflection, and emotion – a perfect send-off for a remarkable group of young people. As they move forward into exams and new adventures, we wish our Class of 2025 every success and happiness in the years ahead. Their energy, creativity, and spirit will be remembered fondly by all who shared this special week with them.
