Term 2

Cross Country

What an incredible turn out for the EHS Cross Country Carnival at the end of Term 1. The sun was beaming on the superstar runners who competed in the run. Kirkham Oval was full of colour, with a huge number of students representing their House in their outfits, and competing in the Colour Run at the end of the Day. Well done Bluetongue who had the best dressed House Captains and the Tug-Of-War Champions of 2025! Well done to the incredible Razorback who took home the Cross-Country Trophy once again! Three years in a Row!

Well done to all of our students who advanced to compete at the Zone level of Cross Country!

Open Girls Soccer

Open Girls Knockout Soccer team attended the Macarthur Zone Central Venue Day. Knowing they had to be at their absolute best to have a chance of progressing through to the final, our girls came together and played some spectacular soccer. First up, they played Thomas Reddall HS and won 11-0. This was followed by a game against Elizabeth Macarthur HS, last year's winners. Up against a tough team, the girls rallied and came away with a 1-1 draw. Last up was Picton HS. The girls threw everything they had to try and secure a win, but unfortunately, they went down 1-2. Sadly, this was the final outing for our wonderful Year 12 players: Arianna, Bethanie, Ellie, Casey and Ruby. Thanks for your leadership and support over the last few years.

Open Boys Soccer

On Thursday 10th April, Elderslie's Open Boys Soccer Team attended the Macarthur Zone Central Venue Day at Doohan Reserve, Oran Park. The day began with an unfortunate 2-1 loss to Camden High School. Credit must go to the team for maintaining a positive attitude as they continued to push for an equaliser right until the final whistle. The final game was against Thomas Reddall High School, which ended in a resounding 5-nil victory. It was nice for our Year 12 students to end their final game with a win.

Thank you to the whole team for representing Elderslie High School with pride.
