Creative & Performing Arts

Thank you to all of our CAPA students who have worked so hard during Term 2 on so many CAPA projects, including our School Musical. The CAPA Faculty are so proud of you all!
BRING IT ON, The Musical
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in making our twenty first musical, Bring It On, The Musical come to life. Our talented cast, dedicated Music Ensemble, hard working technical crew and supportive Alumni worked so hard to bring this show to the school community. What a week and what a show!!!
We are all so thankful that we completed all of the shows this year and that the audiences loved it. Thank you to the parents for supporting the rehearsal process, buying tickets and coming along to watch the shows. Thank you to all of the staff who bought tickets and attended one of the shows. Thank you to our General Assistant, Mr Coghlan for all of his support with our sets and props. Thank you to the Alumni who helped out; James Craven, Caitlin Kubisch, Claire Stanley and Jasmine Bonello. Thank you to all of the Office staff and teachers who also assisted during the rehearsal week and shows. We really appreciated your support. Bring It On taught us all that true success is not just about winning or popularity, but about staying true to yourself, embracing change, and building genuine relationships with others - even in the face of unexpected challenges. The “spirit” really was with us during Week 4 this Term.
We will post some more photos from the Musical in next Term’s Newsletter. What Musical will be doing in 2026?”. Stay tuned!!
Dance and Drama
Congratulations to the Elderslie High School Dance Ensemble and Ballroom Dance Ensemble who performed at The Southern Tablelands Dance Festival in Week 7. This event was held at the brand new Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre and we were impressed with the venue. The Dancers performed their work “Letter on the Ocean” and “Checkmate”. They have rehearsed throughout Term 1 and 2 to complete the dance works and represented our school admirably. Well Done to all involved.
