Get Creative and Win!

Clean Up Australia, in partnership with Coles, is calling on primary and secondary students across Australia participating in Schools Clean Up Day to get creative for a chance to win a $1,000 Coles voucher for their school and have their artwork featured on Coles reusable hessian shopping bags in 2027.

This competition invites students to design artwork inspired by the theme ‘The Future is Clean’ – a powerful opportunity to showcase students’ individual creativity while imagining a cleaner, more sustainable Australia.

This creative competition is open to both primary and secondary school students who have registered to participate in Schools Clean Up Day 2026; EHPS is participating in Schools Clean Up Day next Friday.

We’re looking for original artwork that responds to the theme ‘The Future is Clean’, inspired by Clean Up Australia’s mission to care for the environment, eliminate litter and end waste.

Students are encouraged to show how simple, everyday actions can make a positive difference, including:

  • Reducing waste
  • Reusing and recycling
  • Preventing litter
  • Protecting wildlife and natural spaces

Artworks may reflect what a cleaner future looks like in a student’s local community and should feel hopeful, inspiring and future-focused.

Winning Prize:

One artwork from either a primary or secondary school student will be awarded the Winning Prize which includes:

  • Your artwork brought to life on a Coles hessian reusable bag available to shoppers across Australia in 2027; and
  • $1,000 Coles gift card for your school.

Runner-Up Prizes:

Two runner-up artwork will be selected (one primary school student design and one secondary school student design). Each will receive:

  • $500 Coles gift card for the student’s school.

The competition opened on 2 February. Entries close Tuesday 31 March.
