Walkathon and Colour Run!

After a postponement due to the weather forecast, we were rewarded with a spectacular autumn day for Tuesday’s Walkathon! Sunshine, blue skies, bright colours, and lots of excitement filled the school as we kicked off this year's big event.
Following brain food on the oval and a warm‑up led by our House Captains and School Captains, with music pumping students enthusiastically hit the track, clocking up lap after lap. Some even opted to run The Noodle Gauntlet - an obstacle course on the oval organised by the Year Five and Six Leaders in the Walkathon Action Team! We also loved having so many families join us for the first community lap alongside their proud children, and of course the afternoon’s AMAZING colour run was the perfect finale to an unforgettable day!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success: Connor Smith's tireless organisation and commitment, our dedicated staff, Walkathon Action Team, House and School Captains, Community Engagement Team, and our students, whose energy brought the day to life.
We’re also grateful to our families for their ongoing support, cooperation regarding the poor weather postponement and fundraising efforts which help us continue to provide wonderful opportunities like these for ENPS. Together, our community fundraised over $26,000!! A percentage of funds will go towards the prizes, management and set up by Australian Fundraising, however we are blown away by this incredible effort. A extra congratulations to our two fundraising prize winners drawn at today's assembly, with Brooks receiving the Class Prize Pack for his class (2FO), and Cleo (FTW) taking home the chocolate filled Easter Hamper!
A reminder that fundraising has now closed. Prize selection is open from today (Thursday 2nd April) until Wednesday 22nd April. Please ensure all prizes have been selected by this date. Prizes are expected to arrive midway through Term Two.
Below are some happy highlights from Tuesday:
