ENPS Cross Country Day

The ENPS Year Three to Six Cross Country was held at Buckley Park on Wednesday 25th March and was a fantastic day for our school community.

We were lucky to enjoy perfect weather, and the finish line was a colourful sight with students proudly representing their house colours of red, blue, green and yellow. The event was a great success thanks to the enthusiasm and effort of our Year Three to Six students, along with the support of our teachers, staff and wonderful parent volunteers.

A big thank you to Padma Gude, Mahmoud Amirgholi, Maryam Omidinia, Jodie Elliott, Zee Scott, Inji Ozyazgan, Anneke Ryan, Yolande Stone, Merewalesi Koroi, Amanda Fang, and Kathryn Simons for volunteering their time as course marshals. We would also like to give a special thank you to Joshua Kelly-Briggs, Nisa Kelly-Briggs, Yolande Stone and Mahmoud Amirgholi for their valuable help with set up and pack up.

The 11, 12 and 13-year-old boys and girls completed a challenging 3km course starting at Oval One, looping around Oval Two and repeating the circuit three times. The 8, 9 and 10-year-old runners completed a 2km course, consisting of two laps of the same route.

Congratulations to all students for their determination, enthusiasm and excellent sportsmanship. A special congratulations to Gurrin, our winning house!
