Pathways & Academic Review Conferences
Many thanks to all the students and parents who attended last week's conferences which were very well attended. For comparison, for the 2025 Sem 2 ARCs there was an average of 72% participation at each year level, compared to 77% average participation at each year level in the Sem 2 2026 PARCs.
This means that more of our students participated in important conversations about learning, wellbeing and pathways. The subject selection paperwork for Year 8-11 for 2027 courses is currently being finalized and if you have further questions about this process please contact your child's Year Level Leader.

As most of our families know, last year we moved away from the traditional Parent/Teacher interviews to embrace a different way of having conversations with families about student learning.
Ultimately, we wanted to put students at the centre of the conversation and have them lead the discussion with their parent and teacher.
We wanted students to reflect on their learning in each subject and consider the attendance, behaviour and learning data to better understand how they are tracking and what supports they need to continue to improve.
The student engagement scale is an outstanding tool to help students reflect on how active they are in their learning and identify behaviours which will help them to progress.
Last week we took the opportunity to include a pathways conversation with our ARCs which helped students to make a more informed choice for subjects and pathways the following year.
