Debating News

This Monday the 18th of July, Craigieburn Secondary College participated in the 5th and final Round of the DAV inter-school debating competition. The topic was " That we regret the rise of social media in fighting crime". The results are summarised below:

Craigieburn Secondary College 1 won against Waverley Christian College Online 2 owing to an unforeseen forfeit. 

Craigieburn Secondary College 2 narrowly lost against Lavalla Catholic College 1 by one point. Honourable mentions go out to Senay Sozmen, Stiva Shabah and Mirna Mosees. 

An especial thank you goes out to Natalie Taylor whose commitment to the cause has really helped to foster the debating talents here at Craigieburn Secondary College.
