Welcome to 2023 Foundation students! Our 2023 Foundies participated in a successful first transition this week. This is always a time for reflection and what becomes particularly apparent, is the growth that our current Foundation students make in their first year of school! 

Building update 

We are still awaiting confirmation of the outcome of the tender. Unfortunately there have been issues which have resulted in further cost blow outs and may further impact the scope of works. The VSBA (Vic Schools Building Authority) along with DET and our School Council are working through this as we speak. Hopefully we will have a resolution and a start date soon.

Election Update - 26th November 

Yesterday, the Electoral commission advised us that the space in "The Castle" is deemed suitable to hold voting on election day.  (We are unable to use the existing hall due to the current Camp Australia set up).  We will send a call out for helpers to cook snags on the BBQ as well as bake something for what will be another epic cake stall!  Stay tuned!

A brief recap of that information:

2023 Grade structure = 18 grades, 18 classroom spaces, approx 420 students     

(18 grades in 2022,  18 classroom spaces, current numbers = 419) 

Foundation classes X 2

Grade 1 classes x 3

Grade 2 classes x 3

Grade 3/4 classes x 5

Grade 5/6 classes x 5

If you have any specific information about your child that may be pertinent to 2023 arrangements, please provide it via email by Wednesday 2nd November to janene.worsam@education.vic.gov.au 

Requests beyond this date will not be considered.

Requests for specific teachers will not be considered.
