Performing Arts

This week in Performing Arts:

We have been continuing to focus on beat and rhythm in the Performing Arts classroom. The children have enjoyed singing and playing along with instruments to different songs that focus on particular rhythm patterns, like ti-ti, taa. Their listening and responding skills are making excellent progress.  

We have had ‘conductor sessions’ where one student is the conductor, who leads the class orchestra. It has been fantastic to see the joy the children have when playing different instruments, as well as when being the ‘conductor’.
