Sophie Centre Opening Celebration
On Thursday 31 March 2022 we finally had the opportunity to celebrate the official opening of the St Madeleine Sophie Barat Centre (or the Sophie Centre as it is affectionately known). After a couple of COVID related changes of plan, it was a joy to gather with our community, architects, builders and staff. Our Year 12 leaders led the guests on tours of our new library, science and IT laboratories and art studios.

A special thank you to Uncle Colin who welcomed us, in language, to Wurundjeri Country. Sr Rita Carroll RSCJ represented the Sophia Education Ministries Board and blessed and officially declared the Sophie Centre open.
