Sister Judith Hill spent many years as a dedicated teacher and administrator at Sacré Cœur. She was Mistress of Discipline at Burke Road between 1955 – 1967. At the beginning of 1977 she returned to Sacré Cœur until 1982 serving as Deputy Principal, Senior English Teacher and Acting Principal in 1979.
Subsequently, Sister Judith Hill gave valuable service on the Sacré Cœur School Board for a period of nine years. These were years of expansion and crucial change at Sacré Cœur and Sister Hill provided stability and wise guidance throughout that period.

Bernie Mithen was a much loved member of our community, who made an enormous contribution to our School. He was Foundation Board Director, Parents' Association President and Bernie was instrumental in the formation of the Community Council, taking on the role of Chair. I had the privilege of getting to know Bernie quite well not only through his substantive roles but, also, most significantly through the time his daughters, Siobhán (Class of 2016) and Eibhie (Class of 2017) were students at Sacré Cœur. As a parent, Bernie was actively involved and very supportive, always generously seeking ways to contribute positively to our school. As a community, we are the richer for Bernie having been an integral member – his incredible intellect, his wit, his humility and his Sacred Heartedness will not be forgotten.
