Sr Marita Fitzgerald RSCJ

The RSCJs, especially the members of the Barat community who are still with us, are such a gift. Recently Sr Marita celebrated her 96th birthday and Adelina Melia-Douvos and Marian Andrews had the privilege of visiting her. 

Sr Marita is a member of the Class of 1944 and it is in incredible 78 years since she finished her schooling.

The cheeky glint in her eyes was still very present and she was keen to share that she prays each day for the Sacré Cœur staff and students. She also adored receiving a 

Sacré Cœur Sophie bear.
