YEAR 12 STUDENTS

ADF Gap Year Program

Applications are now open: Current Year 12 students can apply for a 12-month position in the Air Force, Army or Navy to begin in 2023.

Australia National University

Early entry

Applications close for the Australia National University direct entry program on 23 May. You could receive a guaranteed offer by September. You can start the degree in 2023 or defer your studies until 2024, www.anu.edu.au/study/apply 

 

Medicine and Dentistry

UCAT ANZ

Applications for the UCAT ANZ (University Clinical Aptitude Test) will close 17 May. If you are planning to apply for medicine or dentistry for the 2023 intake, you may be required to sit this test. Visit www.ucat.edu.au

High School Mocktail Film Awards

As part of their annual Martini Film Festival & Awards, JMC Academy hosts the High School Mocktail Film Awards. The Santos Science Experience

Year 9 and 10 students are welcome to apply for the amazing 1-day science program running at the Marine & Freshwater Discovery Centre. There are 4 places left so please register ASAP.

SAE Creative Media Institute

SAE has several campuses located across Australia. The Institute is running two events at the Melbourne campus.

Create for a Day

Saturday 9 April. Students in Years 10 – 12 can participate in a workshop focussed on one of the following study areas: Animation, Audio, Design, Film, Games, Music production, or Songwriting.

 

Federation University – Folio Workshop

Federation University is running a free online folio workshop for senior students studying visual arts. The day will give you an insight into what your post school studies may look like and assist you to prepare your folio for university entry.

Deakin University

Other Career Events

MYSci, Monash University

MYSci is a three-day science program specifically designed for students who are in Year 11 and 12.

This program schedule will include:

  • hands-on workshops
  • access to our Monash teaching facilities
  • opportunity to meet research scientists
  • exposure to potential career pathways
  • activities with the Young Scientists of Australia
  • social activities
