Disney’s High School Musical:

Last week, rehearsals started for this year’s musical- Disney’s High School Musical- On Stage. There was a great sense of excitement as we began learning lines and songs from the show. There are still opportunities for your student to participate if they would like to be part of the fun. Rehearsals are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 in the PAC, and if you child would like to join, please contact Ms. MacAlister for more information.

Music Notes:

Our Year 7’s have now taken their instruments home for the holidays and are working hard to consolidate the note and rhythm reading that they have learnt this term. If you have a child in Year 7 music this Semester, it would be great if they could spend half an hour over the holidays working on these concepts.

Music Notes:

Guitar lessons will commence early next term.  If your child would like to learn guitar and hasn’t applied, the application form is located on Knowledge Banks or, if you would prefer to have the form emailed to you, please send a request to ahoulihan@monivae.vic.edu.au

Piano and Voice lessons:

Due to the large number of applications for piano and voice lessons, we are unable to accept any new applications at this time as we are at capacity. If you would like your student to be placed on a waiting list, please feel free to contact me.

Choir:

Our Choir rehearses every Tuesday lunchtime in the PAC. This is a non-auditioned, inclusive ensemble that is designed for students who love to sing. We are always looking for new members who would like to join so, if you have a student that is interested in this ensemble, they are welcome to come to a rehearsal or email me for more information.
