Student Services Report
It’s an absolute pleasure to be appointed as the Student Services Leader at Hampton Park Secondary College. This is a new position and I am proud to be leading the wellbeing, careers/pathway and inclusion teams. I have spent the first week getting to know staff and students and finding my way around the school. I have been very impressed with the orderly environment of the school and the students who make time to say ‘hello’ on their way past me.
A little bit about my background - I am married with three sons, I have spent the last twelve years working in schools in the south-east region, in the role of wellbeing leader at Keysborough College and student services leader at Cranbourne East Secondary College. I have many connections with local agencies and look forward to establishing partnerships with them over the coming months to bring services and programs to the school to support our students and families. In 2018 I was fortunate to travel to Canada to investigate education in their beautiful country. I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to Hampton Park Secondary College and to share the Canadian educators’ best practice in engagement, wellbeing and inclusion into our school.
I will be attending the Later Years Expo on Wednesday, 24th July 2019, and look forward to meeting our parents/carers during this event.
If you have concerns for your child and wish to speak with a member of the wellbeing team, please contact the school on (03) 8795 9400. I have also included a list of contact numbers for our local agencies that may be of assistance to you.
