“Most likely to succeed” Parent Information Night

All parents, families and students of Hampton Park Secondary College are invited to view a powerful movie, “Most likely to succeed” which documents how an American school re-imagined what students and teachers are capable of doing.

The current educational system was developed a century ago however, while our world has changed over this time, our education system has not. Many schools are attempting to teach and test skills that still leave students unprepared for the 21st Century and their futures.

After presenting this problem, the documentary focuses on the story of a school in San Diego that is completely rethinking what the experience of going to school looks like.

As we follow students, parents and teachers through a truly unorthodox school experience, the audience is forced to consider what sort of educational environment is most likely to succeed in the 21st century?
