The 2022 Dance Performance

Having watched the students embark on the dance program this term it gave me enormous pride to see the students on stage last Friday, putting on such a wonderful performance. After witnessing the eight week journey through the program it is a testament to the whole student population the level of energy and excitement they brought to the lessons and of course the concert. Admittedly there were some students who were somewhat cautious early, maybe even a little reluctant, and it was the opportunity to see those students on stage having a great time which brought the most joy. Indeed it was the infectious enthusiasm of every single student which underpinned the success of the evening and there were many students who displayed genuine passion for what they were doing. The night was a clear reminder of what an amazing group of students we have here at St Raphael's!

Division Athletics

Last Thursday seventeen St Raphael's students headed off to Meadowglen Athletics Track in Epping for the Darebin Division Athletics Carnival. There were many fantastic results across the day with many ribbons being won.

Congratulations to the following students who qualified for the Northern Region Athletics Carnival - Aidan Gauci, Ruby Gauci, Zoe Bilyk, Max Gray, Ava Dos Santos and Leah Gozzo. Also a hearty congratulations to Leah for being our sole winner on the day, taking out the 11 Year Old girls Long Jump.
