Matific Award

Congratulations to Kevin 1/2T and Chris 5/6T for being this week's Matific Masters. 

A reminder that activities completed will be calculated each fortnight and a winner will be announced at the following assembly. The winners receive a certificate and raffle ticket for the end of term prize. 

Science Week 

On Thursday 18th August we will be celebrating Science Week. Students will work in multiage house teams to participate in four science themed workshops. Students are encouraged to wear their house colours on this day. 

Maths Open Day

Come and join us for a morning of maths! 

On Tuesday 23rd August, we will be having a maths open day.  All classrooms will be open from 9-10.45 for parents to participate in a morning of maths fun. 

Game of the week

Addition snap 

In the game Ace is worth 1 and all picture cards are worth 10.

1. Split a card deck in half.
2. Both players flip over a cards at the same time. 
3. The first player to correctly to add the total of the cards wins and collects the cards.
4. The person with the most cards at the end of the game wins.

This game can also be played using two cards to make two digit numbers or three cards to make three digit numbers.
