High Ability Program
This week in Year 11 Modern History students researched the aims and demands of the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences before conducting a mock conference.
Students of the class fulfilled the roles of the political leaders at the two conferences whilst re-enacting the conferences.
Following the debate the class also discussed the issues of the conference to determine if they come to the same conclusion as what actually happened in 1945. Students then predicted the implications of the conference on the course of the Cold War and our world today.
This activity gave students a great insight to the challenges faced by World Leaders post WWII.
