Wellbeing Programs

The final session of the 'Learning Effective Communication Group Program' was held during the last week of term. The students were awarded with an attendance certificate.

Year 9 Wellbeing Day

On Wednesday June 8th, year 9 students participated in a wellbeing day – It has been so long since we have been able to celebrate these days, so it was exciting to do it again this year for years 7, 8 and 9.

The day consisted of various activities – Every student went from group to group, so they had the chance to participate in everything.

A year 8 group program will commence in week 2 of term 3 and we hope to have further group education each term ongoing.

Legal Aid

  • Bridget, a Legal Aid educator and Maddy, a Legal Aid lawyer  presented a very informative session on Sex, young people and the Law, the presentation focused on four topics:
    • Age of consent – Consent – Cyberbullying - Sexting.
  • Many questions were asked, and the students were very engaged.

Victoria Police

  • Leading Senior Constable Sharon Patterson engaged the students with information on how to party safely – How to look after your friends, how to protect yourself. In this age where young people are starting to socialise, information is important.
