Matific Award

Congratulations to Alexis Shagas 1/2T and Seerat Randhawa 5/6C for being this week's Matific Masters. 

A reminder that activities completed will be calculated each fortnight and a winner will be announced at the following assembly. The winners receive a certificate and raffle ticket for the end of term prize. 

Maths Open Day

Come and join us for a morning of maths! 

On Tuesday 23rd August, we will be having a maths open day.  All classrooms will be open from 9-10.45 for parents to participate in a morning of maths fun. 

Game of the week

Snap with a difference.

In this game Ace is worth 1 and all picture cards are worth 10.

This can be played in a variety of ways to cater for a variety of levels. Players can choose to work with either one, two or three cards depending if they want to make a one, two or three digit number. 

The person who finds the difference between the cards is the winner. For example player one has 6 and player two has 8. Players need to flip the cards so the larger number is first and then find the difference. In this example the difference is 2. The player who finds the difference first wins and the player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
