Dear Parents and Friends of St Francis Xavier,
S.F.X 'Circus Spectacular' - Tickets on sale tomorrow
The 'Circus Crew' have returned to S.F.X! Currently all our students are involved in a fun-filled 10 week training program that will culminate in a special performance for their families at the end of this Term.

Thursday September 15th, 2022
6:30pm @ George Jenkins Theatre (Monash University, Peninsula)
It is essential that every child is present for the performance on this evening. Many of the acts are reliant on children being able to work in small teams. One person away can severely impact all the hard work and planning that goes into a production such as this. If you know that your child will not be able to attend, please contact the office to let us know so I can inform the the Circus Director who will factor this in during rehearsals. All students must have at least one parent/guardian purchase a ticket and attend the performance.

We have limited tickets to 4 per family for the time being. You do not need to purchase a ticket for S.F.X students. This is to ensure that all families are able to purchase tickets initially. If there are empty seats remaining as we get closer to the date, we will let families know that they can log back in and book more tickets for family and friends. Tickets cost $14 for adults and $10 for children (2-17 years old).
I strongly encourage families to log in and secure tickets early. We will contact any families who have not purchased ticket/s closer to the event to check in. More information regarding our performance will be sent home over the coming weeks. (What to wear, time to arrive, rehearsals etc…)
Father's Day Breakfast
After a few years of missing out due to the COVID situation, I am happy to announce that our Father's Day Breakfast will return this year.
Date: Friday 2nd September
Time: Any time between 7:15am - 8:30am
Menu: Bacon and egg rolls
Whole pieces of fruit (bananas, apples, mandarins, pears)
Cereal
Where possible, we encourage all students to attend with a special man in their life. This may be Dad, Grandpa an Uncle or a family friend.
Weather permitting, the breakfast will be held on the basketball court. If it is raining, we will move into the Red Centre and surrounding classrooms.
More information in regard to the breakfast will be sent home next week.
Reducing Chaos + Increasing Calm - WEBINAR TONIGHT
S.F.X families are welcome and encouraged to register for this fantastic, free Webinar. The webinar will focus on practical ideas and strategies that can be implemented to reduce chaos and increase the calm vibes in your household.

Time - 7:30pm (runs for 60 minutes)

Tomorrow, you will receive a link to access the replay. Therefore we recommend even if you are unable to attend the live webinar, register anyway to ensure you can access the replay.
Maths Open Day
Come and join us for a morning of maths!
On Tuesday 23rd August, we will be having a maths open day. All classrooms will be open from 9-10.45 for parents to participate in a morning of maths fun.
