LITERACY

We have been focussing on making inferences when reading. An inference is something we make by using clues and evidence from what we are seeing and reading. The students have been practicing using clues from the text to make statements about what they are seeing. 

We have also started a big write this week for students to work on their writing goals and practice receiving and providing feedback. 

MATHS

We have finished our unit on multiplication and have started working on financial maths. The students are working on an ongoing project where they are designing their dream house. They have a budget of $750,000 to buy land and build a house. The students are calculating the total cost of building materials and furniture. 

CIRCUS SKILLS

CAMP REMINDERS 

We will be leaving school at 9am on Wednesday. Please ensure you arrive at school on time. 

The students will be participating in a mud run. Please make sure you have a rubbish bag and pack an extra set of pants, shoes and a top for this activity.
