Truganini Reflection

Year 11 Retreat
DAY 1
As a Truganini Cluster we rode the bus on the way to Anglesea. As we arrive we are presented by a Woman who had an accident by having an asthma attack, but still was able to come back to life but suffered some severe damage.
When that presentation was finished we started to get ready to go to the activities we chose to do for the camp. Those activities were Beach activities, Surfing, Kayaking, Mountain Bike Riding. Everyone had fun within those activities giving everyone joy. The sun was going down and we had dinner.
We settled into our cabins and then ate dinner, as we continue to do some mini activities for the night such as, Meditation, Rosary making, ate marshmallows while answering questions and meditation.

DAY 2
During this day many mini events were held, which allowed each home bases to work together and get to know each other more. The leaders presented a trivia to all of the home groups to compete against each other for a box of chocolates.
Together in our home bases we were given time to reflect and complete our third picture on our crosses. Later on we were all sent outside for a reflection prayer. It was held outdoors where you could see the beautiful ocean leading into the horizon.
All the leaders read our part and had wonderful back music by Lauren. We once again were all gathered in the hall to have lunch. As it was Friday there were veggie burgers and fruit for us to eat. We then had to sadly leave our retreat and catch the bus ride home. This retreat is one to remember and has given everyone a chance to make new friends and grow with their faith.
