Dunlop Reflection

On Thursday the 5th of March the Year 11s set out to go on our Retreat for 2020, we were told that this was a chance for us to get to know each other and bond as a unit. We were able to be with our Clusters for two days and learn and develop new skills. Not only did we get to develop these skills, but we also got to put them into practice and learn what they were all about. We learnt how to communicate, work together and how to show leadership and initiative in our lives. We really got to see about how we are all quite different; this allowed us to witness the power of diversity. The Retreat was a great experience for all of the Year 11s and I believe that every person got the opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills that will truly help us in the years to come.

The Retreat was an amazing experience. It provided all of us with the opportunity to strengthen and create bonds with each other and enjoy the time we have together. We were presented with challenges that we were tasked with working our way through by utilising teamwork and effective communication. Undoubtedly, this Retreat was something that we will fondly remember and an experience that we all very much enjoyed.
