Student of the Month

Michael Prapas (T2) - Truganini

Michael Prapas has been nominated as the student of the month. He has been selected due to his persistence in his studies as well as his positive attitude and outlook on life. He has achieved a lot in the past year within school as well as out of school, by representing Victoria in Soccer. We are all proud of you Michael and your achievements.

Ally Sawyer (C2) - Chang

Ally Sawyer has made a great start to year 12. She has come in with a mature and hardworking attitude to her studies. Ally is friendly and respectful to others around her, and has a strong sense of social justice.

Nathan Koprek (W3) - Winton

So far in 2020, Nathan has set an exemplary standard for all students to follow. As the captain of the Winton cluster, he has demonstrated a real compassion for others and his friendly, approachable demeanor has earnt the respect of students and teachers alike. He has played a central role in the organizing our upcoming FriYay fundraiser, along with the other Winton leaders who have worked hard to ensure that the fundraiser is something to be enjoyed and to be proud of. Academically, he has been extremely proactive; communicating with his teachers in advance when leadership commitments have caused him to be absent to ensure that he does not fall behind in these subjects. His attention to detail when planning house events has also been impressive for a young man of his tender age. Nathan’s high performance in classes are not down to his ‘intelligence’, instead they are a result of his fantastic work ethic, organisation and communication skills. These are skills that Nathan has learned and practiced and it is a real credit to his character that he has been able to show them on such a consistent basis.

Melanie Xuereb (D2) - Dunlop

Melanie attends every homegroup session with enthusiasm and cheerfulness. She has shown kindness to her fellow students, and is never late. She is a lovely student to have in homegroup.

Chloe Goss (M3) - MacKillop

MacKillop’s student of the month is Chloe Goss of M3. Chloe is always willing to take part in all aspects of the VCAL program. From completion of work to helping to plan projects and activities. Chloe has demonstrated fantastic leadership skills and is an enthusiastic member of M3 home group, many times she has assisted in looking after Bella the College dog.

Chloe’s commitment continues with her VET Animal Studies and she has secured work placement in this field as well. Chloe has had a very productive term one of her senior year and is on the path to successfully complete her Year 12 studies at a high academic level.

Congratulations Chloe on a very successful Term One.

Chloe-Jane Borg (B2) - Bradman

Chloe has played a pivotal role in the currently postponed College Production. As dance captain she has embodied the Bradman values with a maturity beyond her years. Her commitment to her studies and extra-curricular activities has made a lasting impression on those who she comes in contact with. We would like to thank Chloe for all her hard work and displays of leadership across the term and hope she can continue this in the coming terms. Thank you Chloe and best of luck for a great year ahead.
