Volunteer Training Sessions

We value parents, grandparents and community members who are prepared to volunteer as classroom helpers, in our canteen, in the Resource Centre, on committees or as parent helpers at sporting events. The following volunteer training sessions are available in term 3: 

Wednesday, 2 August at 09:00 am

Tuesday, 22 August at 6:00 pm

Footy Colours Day

Year 5 Bike Ed

Commencing in week 2 of term 3, year 5 students will participate in the Way2Go Bike Ed program on Wednesdays. Information went home in week 8 with permission forms due back to school on Wednesday of week 10.

Through participating in Way2Go Bike Ed students: 

• Build their knowledge and understanding of road laws and traffic environments 

• Develop bike handling and maintenance skills 

• Develop decision-making skills for off and on-road bike riding.

A reminder for year 5 students participating to bring their bike to school at 08:30 am on Wednesday 2 August. Bikes are to be left beside the 3 block, opposite the grass triangle for a free roadworthiness check by either RAA or Bike SA.

Family Fun Night

Save the date! Family Fun Night will take place on Friday, 17 November and is a biannual event not to be missed.

If you own a local business or know someone who can support our fundraising efforts by making a pledge or donating a prize for our raffle, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Mel: Mel.Stanley544@schools.sa.edu.au before 28 July.

We will also accept applications from small businesses and entrepreneurs to set up a stall on the night. If you would like to apply for a stall, please email dl.1858.info@schools.sa.edu.au
