Block 5 Mural

In week 6 we announced that we have engaged an artist to paint a botanical mural to brighten the northern and eastern facades of block 5 near the grass triangle. Remaining funds from the Colour Run Fundraiser along with school funds will be put towards this project.

Before work commenced, students were shown the mural design and invited to draw and colour little creatures that would live in the habitat designed. It was wonderful to see so many students get creative. We received 247 drawings! The leadership team really enjoyed looking at all of the illustrations and shortlisted 67 to submit to the artist for final selection. 

It has been exciting for staff and students to watch the mural coming to life over the past few weeks. The artist is hoping to complete the mural during the school holidays. Look out for the hidden creatures when school returns!

Colourful painted games are coming to GPS!

Edumarking has advised that our painted games are on their way! They are currently on the high seas with an ETA of 23 July 2023. We will keep you updated with an ETA for installation.
