Gratitude Page

We asked a quick question to students, "Which staff member/teacher are you grateful for? Why?" Here are some of their responses!

I am grateful for Mr Meager for always allowing my to tell him my jokes and (sometimes) finding them funny.

I am grateful for Mr. Yong because he is in my opinion one of my favourite teachers at this school. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to keep control of the class. He's also really funny and a caring teacher too. You can tell that he really wants his students to succeed and has been very effective at doing so. Also I always feel super proud of myself after a class with him because I've filled up three pages of notes in my notebook.

I'm grateful for Frau Ryan. She is one of the sweetest teachers I've met and you can tell she has so much compassion. Originally, I didn't have much interest in German and took it because I had too, but she makes learning super fun! Also I love her style. Ich liebe du, Frau Ryan

I'm grateful for Mr. De Silva. Mr. De Silva is one of the funniest teachers I know and always manages to crack me up.

I'm grateful for Fiona at wellbeing. Fiona is always super comforting and easy to talk to. She has this great presence and she listens and understands you well. She talks to you like a friend.

I'm grateful for Ms Boyd for being someone I can talk to comfortably.

I'm grateful for Mr. McClare, he's only been at Heathmont for a short time but he has been incredibly understanding and kind.

I'm grateful for Mr. Hunt for putting this up and thinking of a way to spread positivity around the school and I hope seeing this makes his day.

Mr Hunt, for being such a comfortable teacher to talk to inside and outside the classroom and who clearly knows his stuff and is passionate and offers constant support.

I'm grateful for Ameillia and Ally Vance because they always help 

me and make me fell like I belong, they also help me see the good thing in life and help me through the bad and the rough times , and they always are there for me . they are also the only teacher I really trust and my trust is hard to come by.

Tory (Tedeschi), for making accomodations and keeping us interested and working so so hard to make us fall in love with Lit and doing so without even knowing just because we have her for a teacher

I am grateful for Mr Lawrence for always being a friendly face around the school.

Mr Lawrence, as he's extremely positive and boost morality just by being present and he has boosted my confidence a lot since he started being my mentor group teacher.

Ms MacDonald! Always so bright and colourful, both in her outfits and her personality!!

I am grateful to Mrs. McMurray for helping me with lots of different things throughout the years, and being a great mentor teacher!

I am grateful to Mrs. Ling for being very helpful with making sure I can learn to the best of my abilities, even if it's not in a typical way

Mr Chappell, he is fun and supporting. I enjoy his classes! Total slay :) 

I am grateful to Mr Seago for always helping me understand the work and making sure I get the most out of my learning

I am grateful for Mr Hunter for always helping me when I'm stuck with my work, and letting me work in the ways that work for me

Of course, the staff are all incredibly grateful to have such an amazing school of students who make everyday unique and special. We love what we do because of you.
