The Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead and Museum is having its 25th birthday celebrations on Sunday, March 4.

There will be a tree planting ceremony at 12 noon and the unveiling of a plaque commemorating the occasion.

Mont De Lancey Homestead, built in the 1880s, has been restored by and continues to be run entirely by volunteers. We hope to see many past and present volunteers and their families attending.

Following the ceremony there will be a Twilight Festival from 1 pm to 7 pm. There will be market stalls, variety of food, drinks, ice cream van, jumping castle, pony rides and old-style games for children and the young at heart.

Come and visit the museum and homestead, enjoy the lovely gardens, enjoy a Devonshire tea, see the Blacksmiths and wood-turners at work and vintage machinery.

The Yarra Valley Film Festival - this weekend!

The Yarra Valley Film Festival is an outdoor community event showcasing films from the Valley, Australia and all around the world. The Festival hosts a twilight market, boasting the best in Yarra Valley wines, beers, ciders, local produce, arts, crafts and more.

Bring your friends, a picnic blanket and some loose change for the twilight market and food trucks.

Remember you must have a ticket to enter.
