National Ride2School Day - Friday 24th March

Join in the fun on National Ride2School Day by encouraging your child to ride, walk, skate or scoot to school. 

National Ride2School Day is the perfect opportunity for students and school communities across Australia to embrace a healthier start and try riding or walking to school for themselves. 

If you drive to school, its ok to park further away and walk, ride or scoot the rest of the way. Every little bit helps!

Cultural Diversity Week 

Theme: Our Past. Our Future: Celebrating and reflecting on the contributions of Victoria's multicultural communities. 

At Vermont Primary School we are celebrating Cultural Diversity Week from 27th March to the 31st March. We have a range of activities planned. Some of these are included below:

• Cultural Diversity Day - Monday 27th March 2023

This is a day where the children come to school wearing clothing that represents their cultural identity. Alternatively, they can wear something orange in colour as this celebrates and represents Harmony.

We will be holding a special assembly which Parents and Carers are invited to attend.  It will begin at 9:10am and will be held in the stadium.

The assembly will include:

-a Parade of the special costumes

-students speaking about some famous multicultural contributors to society

-a number of dance and singing performances

-a performance from our choirs.
