As part of 10c container collection at SMCC, money raised was used to make up breakfast packs and given to Rosies to hand out. Our team leader from Rosies, Declan, is pictured with our students that volunteer at Rosies.
"Containers for change is a recycling system that our school, St Mary’s partakes in. The money raised was collected from all the 10-cent bottles found around our school and is used to give back to others. 150 plus packs for patrons have been individually made-up filled with a small bowl, cutlery, breakfast items and a small beverage. There are also environmentally friendly containers to hold food that will be donated to Rosies. We encourage students to donate more used bottles so that more money can be raised to go towards good causes like these."
