Farewell to our Year 12 Students

Mrs Jonsen has excelled herself again with the creation of a beautiful display to celebrate and acknowledge all of Year 12 students. Every student has a confetti circle with their name printed on it. Students are most welcome to come and collect their confetti circle in Week 5. This year’s theme is about believing in yourself to go on and make a difference in the world. Library staff wish our Year 12 students all the very best with their upcoming external exams and wish them every happiness for the future!

Mental Health Week

Last week students were able to participate in an activity which asked them to name a song, book or movie that made them happy. You can see from the number of students who completed the activity that we must have many happy students at St Mary’s. Congratulations to Abbi Bowlen (10.2) and Halen Allayialis (7.2) who were the overall winners of the activity and received a box of chocolates to share with their friends.

Textbook Returning

All Year 12 students need to have their textbook loans returned by the end of external exam week. Students in Years 7 to 10 need to have their textbooks returned to the library at the beginning of Week 7. We appreciate everyone’s assistance in getting resources back in a timely manner without the need for reminder emails and follow up with parents.
