  • Water Polo Gala Day

Congratulations to our Year 9 / 10 Water Polo teams who competed at the Cairns Inter-School Water Polo Gala Day on Thursday at TAS. Our students studying Human Movement Studies had an opportunity to put their skills into practice. The boys came away with 2nd place, and the girls nabbed 3rd place.! Thank you to Mr Cahill and Mr Hanlon for coaching the teams. Special mention to Nate Milne & Latisha Peverell, who was awarded vice-MVP for the Carnival, and Charlotte Jonsen who was awarded a spirit award.

  • Bentley 7s

Our junior and senior netball and rugby league competed in the Bentley 7s carnival last Friday. Both netball teams took home the trophy, with both boys rugby league teams making the semis, but just falling short. Thanks to Mrs Tindall, Ms Gibney, Mrs Mizzi, Mr Will, Mr Tutoe and Mr Winter for their work with the teams.

  • Sports Awards Afternoon

Our JSS teams have finished their round games, with semi-finals being held in Week 5. Congratulations to all teams who represented the College with PRIDE, SYNGERGY and SPORTSMANSHIP in this competition. Our girls touch, boys touch, girls netball, boys basketball, girls soccer, boys soccer and boys volleyball are all progressing to the semi-finals. Best of luck to all teams!
