A reminder for ALL Year 9 students to continue to actively look for an appropriate work experience placement for the week of Monday August 30 to Friday September 3, 2021. All required documentation has been uploaded to the Workplace Learning tab on the new Killester Careers Website.

As the VCE results and change of preference season comes closer, ALL Year 12 students must remember to be positive, as there is always a path to what you might like to do in the future. Bear an open outlook as your anticipated pathway may not always be a direct route. With this in mind, support will be offered to Year 12 students by members of the Senior Pathways Team who will be available at school on the day of VCE results for appointments and at other times during the change of preference period. Year 12 2020 students and families will find further information in the links below. Times and dates for support are outlined in the linked document. We will send you a link to a Google Form sign up closer to the 30th of December.  Please make sure you have added your USI to your VTAC account before then.

As it is our last Careers post for 2020, we decided it would be timely to feature a resource for students who are seeking summer employment. This resource has been collated by the Victorian Department of Education and Training which features a number of helpful links. See attached Work Signpost.

The Careers and Pathways Team would like to wish the Killester Community a Merry Christmas and a safe, happy, and restful summer break.
