Australian Secondary Schools Culinary Competition

On Wednesday 28 June two teams of students competed in the Australian Secondary Schools Culinary Competition.

 

We are very proud to report that our Year 10 Introduction to Hospitality team of Soph and Angel received a silver medal for their Persian inspired meal a chicken roulade filled with a cream cheese, barberry and pistachio with crispy chicken skin, laying on tomato, onion and saffron gravy surrounded by a zucchini mint purée paired with jewelled rice.

 

Our Stage 1 and 2 combined team of Benny and Kodi also did well and received a bronze medal for their dish of Chicken Wellington with roast pumpkin puree and prosciutto wrapped asparagus.

 

Congratulations to these students, they worked very hard to achieve these results.
