All you have to do is write down the highest number of decimal places of π in just 15 minutes. As easy as pi, right?

Join us on Tuesday 29 August in BP1 at recess (10.55am - 11.10am).

Rules and guidelines:

  • The challenge is open to all students from Years 7 to 12. Staff are also welcome to participate;
  • Answers in written form with clear labeling of each decimal place to ensure accuracy and ease of evaluation;
  • Only correct and accurate decimal places will be counted. Any incorrect digits will not contribute to the final score;
  • Must work individually on the challenge.

Prizes:

  • Grand Prize: The participant with the highest number of correctly calculated decimal places will be awarded the title of 'Pi Precision Champion'.
  • Runner-Up Prizes: The top three runners-up will also be acknowledged with certificates.
