District and Southern Zone Champions
TERM 3 SPORT REPORT
Congratulations to the Year 7 boys hockey team and their coach Mr Sawers, on finishing winners of the Kingston District championships in the last week of term. The team defeated Bentleigh in the final to see them move through to southern zone finals on October 28. Good luck to all involved.
The Year 7 girls hockey team also competed in their round robin, finishing in second place to Brighton. Well done to Ms Carter and the girls for their efforts.
The Year 7 boys table tennis team were undefeated heading into their last match against McKinnon. Unfortunately the quick returns of the opposition were hard to contest, resulting in a second place for our team.
Mr Gunn's Year 8 boys basketball team, also finishing Kingston District Champions, are off to contest the southern zone finals later this month. Well done to the team after finishing undefeated during term 3.
Our successful competitors from district athletics travelled to Casey Fields on October 6 to compete in the southern zone regional finals.
